Isonguyo Akpan is a postgraduate student of English, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, where he focuses on Literature, Literary Theories and Criticism and Stylistics. He holds B. A (Hons.) with First Class in English from Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin. Also, he earned his National Certificate in Education (NCE), English and Political Science, from Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit. He is a certified member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). He has research interest in areas such as African and postcolonial literature, gender and sexuality, migration and trauma studies, among others.
