Bassey Ekpenyong Bassey, PhD.
Bassey Ekpenyong Bassey holds a Ph.D. (in Film and New Media) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria; a master’s degree in media studies from the University of Calabar, Calabar. She also has a double bachelor’s degree, in Accounting and Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. Bassey is a lecturer with the Department of Performing Arts, Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. Her research interests are in the areas of Film and New Media Studies, Theatre/Dramatic Themes and Values, Digital Communication, Feminism and Research Mechanism.
