Burabari Sunday Deezia, Ph.D., is a lecturer in the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He holds a doctorate in the Philosophy of Religion, with a particular focus on African Philosophy and Cultural Studies. Dr. Deezia is the co-author of Theories of Religion: Tools for Understanding Human Religious Beliefs, Practices, and Philosophy and the co-editor of Understanding Inter-Religious Relations: The Nigerian Perspective. He is a member of several academic and professional organizations, including the Nigerian Association for the Study of Religion (NASR), the African Association for the Study of Religion (AASR), the Association for the Promotion of African Studies (APAS), the Association of Philosophy Professionals of Nigeria, and Research and Academic Excellence (University of Nigeria, Nsukka), among others.
